Medals just poured down upon Cantina di Soave wines at this year’s International Wine and Spirit Competition (IWSC), London’s historic and globally prestigious international competition founded in 1969 by Anton Massel.
In all, the Cantina brought home 20 medals, all awarded on the basis of scores assigned by judges in rigorous blind tastings.
«These awards – stated Cantina di Soave General Manager Bruno Trentini – simply reconfirm the extraordinary results we recently achieved at the Decanter tastings, another highly-respected international competition. And once again, these awards covered the entire spectrum of our wine portfolio, across every brand we produce: the IWSC bestowed its medals on wines from different denominations and styled for different distribution channels. This a truly amazing tribute».
Just to cite a few examples, the IWSC judges awarded the Gold Medal to the CADIS Amarone and the Outstanding Silver to the Rocca Sveva Ripasso, the same wines that won the highest awards at the Decanter competition. Among the 20 medals, one other should be underscored: the Outstanding Silver to the Rocca Alata Ripasso.
